Collectable toys specialist, Magic Box Toys has detailed plans for a fourth series of its popular line, SuperZings, scheduled to hit shelves this August.
SuperZings is the ‘hero vs villain’ pocket money range that sees everyday objects and food as collectable characters. One of the top selling toy and collectable lines in the UK, SuperZings taps into a recognisable concept and theme for children.
The brand has already reached the majority of children in the UK having sold over 11 million units to date.
Series 4 will see the introduction of more than 80 new characters, including rare and ultra-rare finds, with accessories and play-sets adding new elements of gameplay to further evolve the world of SuperZings.
Blaster Jets (£2 retail), are eight new vehicles which take battle to the next level – fire the weapon disc at an opponent to see who has the greatest superpower. Mega Jets (£4) are super powered machines which are ready to rumble and of which there are also eight to collect.
Connect the Blaster Jet and the Mega Jet together, press the launch button on the Mega Jet and propel the Blaster Jet knocking out any enemies in its path.
The Starter Pack, priced at £5 has everything a SuperZing fan could want and more. All housed in a special ultra-rare SuperZings bag, the kit contains three SuperZings, one exclusive metal Blaster Jet and an ultra-rare SuperZing.
The £6 Danger Gang tins includes five exclusive Danger Gang Villains. And the Blister Blaster Jet pack (£7) contains four SuperZings (one silver), a blaster slider and a blaster jet for quick fire action fun.
Meanwhile, the toy range expansions for AW19 includes the Kazoom Lab: Professor K Vs Engima which sees the SuperZings fight for the Kazoom with battle weaponry and two exclusive characters, plus the Hero Monster Roller Truck where SuperZings catch the Villains in the Monster Roller Truck, compete with built in blaster and two exclusive characters.
The Power Tower is an action play-set which allows SuperZings fans to propel their favourite character into the mouth of the tower. The set also comes with two exclusive characters.
SuperZings sales has to date hit over 11 million units. Series 3 got off to an impressive start in February with sales up 125 per cent on Series 2 launch, driven by fans trying to find the new and elusive Mr King.
SuperZings Series 4 will be supported by a significant launch marketing campaign including TV, digital, social, unboxings, PR and webisodes to introduce the characters and their rivals as well as the full product range.
