Little Tikes launches pre-school collectable line Springlings Surprise!

Little Tikes has launched a new pre-school collectable toy line in the shape of Springlings Surprise! – a collection of springy, plush animals that will hit shelves this autumn.

The range has been launched as the pre-school brand continues to celebrate its 50th anniversary in the toy space this year; a year that has been underpinned with a major marketing push for the brand among consumers and the trade.

In its latest move for the collectables market, Springlings Surprise! boasts a range of  ‘soft and cute characters’ that can be unboxed and popped from their special home with the press of a button. No batteries are required to spring the surprise animal time and time again.

With 12 adorable, springy plush characters to collect, including Bubbly Shimmer, Pepper Spike and Tippy Twirl, little ones can use the peek-a-boo eyes to guess which animal will be springing out of their home next. The range aims to combine elements of unboxing with partial blind-packs.

Michelle Lilley, head of UK marketing for Little Tikes, said: “We are delighted to be kicking off the autumn season with the launch of Springlings Surprise! This brand new and adorable collection of springy, plush animals combines a series of loved animals and mythical characters and we’re expecting them to be tremendously popular over the summer holidays and throughout the gifting season.”

Springlings Surprise! will be popping up on TV, YouTube and PopJam, and will be supported through a strong PR and influencer campaign.

Suitable for children aged two years and upwards, the toy line will retail for £8.99 each.
