'I Am Not Okay With This' Wreaks Hormonal Havoc on Feb. 26th

Get ready to experience the up and downs of adolescence all over again. However, this time with superpowers.

On February 26th, season one of the darkly comedic coming of age/superhero series “I Am Not Okay With This” will be available to stream and will consist of eight episodes.

Based on the 2017 graphic novel by Charles Forsman,  “I Am Not Okay With This” is about Sydney, an angsty high schooler dealing with hormones, grief, unrequited love, and latent superpowers.

(You know, as every teenager does?!)

The cast includes stars from the 2017 adaptation of Stephen King’s IT, Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff. Lillis and Oleff will be playing as the disgruntled heroine, Sydney, and the loveable nerd next door, Stanley Barber, respectively.

The official description on the series’ Netflix page reads as follows:

“Angsty Syd navigates high school awkwardness, family drama and an unrequited crush on her best friend while trying to rein in her budding superpowers”.

It should be worth noting that this will be the second adaptation based upon Charles Forsman’s works, with the first being his pitch-black romantic comedy “The End of The F***ing World”.

While “The End of The F***ing World” was produced and broadcasted by British television network Channel 4, The series is also on Netflix and currently available to stream internationally.
