Funimation Secures Sub and Dub of Persona 5: The Animation

Bet you never saw this coming!

Persona 5: The Animation is coming to Funimation with English subtitles as well as the premiere of an English dub! 

On Aug. 17, 2020, Texas-based anime distributor Funimation announced that the series will be available for streaming the following day, August 18th,  in The United States and Canada and will feature “all 26 episodes and the two special episodes of Persona 5: The Animation, subbed and dubbed“.

Based on the fifth entry in Atlus’ Persona series, Persona 5: The Animation follows teenager Ren Amamiya and his friends on their adventures as the Phantom Thieves, a group of stylish thieves who steal the hearts of twisted and corrupt individuals.

Fans of the Persona 5 game will be pleased to note that the anime features the original Japanese and English voice cast reprising their roles in the show.
