Players eagerly await the anticipated release of Fortnite’s Chapter 2. The recent 11.50 update is the beginning of a transition to the Unreal Engine’s Chaos Physics System, according to Epic Games.
“At launch, the goal is to ensure that Fortnite still feels like Fortnite. Along the way there will be some bumps, so we’re starting tests with a small group of players. We’ll also closely monitor feedback and make improvements over time.” – Epic Games
Epic Games has hinted at new features for the upcoming season, even teasing fans with a redacted announcement on their website on January 23, 2020. Rumors have circulated across the Fortnite community as to what surprises Epic might have in store for gamers. It is unlikely Epic will make any announcements until the release of season 2 but that’s not stopping excited gamers from speculating.
There is still time for gamers to enjoy ‘Overtime Challenges’ and weekly in-game events until the season 2 is officially released.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 is scheduled to launch Thursday, February 20.
